Our Roots
The Imperial DAX Company was founded over half a century ago in a garage in Brooklyn, NY, by Pharmacist and Entrepreneur, Herman Bley, a man who dedicated much of his life to creating high-quality hair products. To date, DAX has been in business for 70+ years and is still proudly made in the USA, operating out of its 45,000 sq ft headquarters in Fairfield, NJ.

High Life products are sold in barbershops across the USA and around the world. This line offers high-end wax pomades, a beard cream and a multitude of other pomade formulas including a clay, a paste, a matte paste, a cream-based, and a water-based pomade.
